Sintered magnesia brick

Magnesia Bricks are alkaline refractory materials. These products have over 90% magnesium oxide content and adopt periclase as the principal crystalline phase. Magnesia Bricks can be divided into two categories of Burnt Magnesia Bricks and Chemical Bonded Magnesite Brick. They have excellent performance of superior high temperature mechanical strength and volume stability. Magnesia Bricks can service in the high temperature of 1750ºC. They are ideal products for glass furnace application.

They feature:

1.High refractoriness, usually the refractoriness is above 2000°C.
2.Strong ability to resist basic (alkaline) slag, can not contact with acid refractory material.
3.Strong ability of thermal conductivity, sometime need insulating material.
4.Excellent resistance in slag abrasion,Higher bulk density
5.Lower apparent porosity and Lower impurity content
