High Alumina Refractory Balls

High-alumina refractory balls are made of industrial alumina and refractory kaolin as the main raw materials, through scientific formulation, forming and high-temperature calcination. They are suitable for hot blast furnaces, heating conversion furnaces and other equipment in industries such as urea and steel. 

High strength and low creep high alumina ball is used extensively in small-sized and medium-sized hot blast stove. It features high specific surface, high thermal efficiency, remarkable energy-saving effect, which can significantly raise the hot air temperature. lt is as well easily installed and time saved.

They feature:

1. high temperature resistant performance;

2. high mechanical strength, long use cycle;

3. good chemical stability, no chemical reaction with the material;

4. good thermal stability, high strength;

Modern hot blast stove is supposed to work with hot-blast temperature of 1300°c or above, especially in high-temperature area such as upper checker chamber and combustion chamber. Meanwhile, its campaign life is expected to be around
30 years, which are calculated as twice as much as that of corresponding blast furnace. These two challenging factors demand a refractory solution with high thermal stability, good resistance to thermal creep, high refractoriness under load and a reasonable cost.
