Neutral ramming mass

Neutral ramming mass (not contain chromium) :
The neutral packing material in the medium-frequency furnace has excellent resistance to erosion by molten steel and slag, as well as resistance to erosion and scouring. The sintered layer is dense, with a long service life, low tonnage steel consumption, easy construction and repair, and energy saving. 
The neutral packing material used in the induction furnace is an induction furnace packing material made from dead-burned magnesite and alumina. Unlike clay and other chemical binders that are specifically combined to achieve the desired sintering properties. 
Neutral materials are used for the lining of induction furnaces, and their quality is directly related to the heating performance of the furnace. Neutral packing materials are widely used in industries such as construction, sandblasting, railways, water purification and casting.

Neutral packing material (containing chromium) :

The development of chromium-containing neutral materials is conducted with a clear plan, aiming to extend the service life of furnaces and serve as a substitute for silica. It features a much longer service life-8 to 10 times that of silica ramming mixes-which can significantly boost productivity to twice the current level.

Chromium-containing neutral materials are applicable for melting iron or steel of any quality, regardless of the presence of acidic or basic slag. Neutral ramming mixes are an in-situ spinel-forming ramming material, which has been proven to exhibit excellent thermal shock resistance. Compared with silica and other ramming materials, it is non-hazardous and environmentally friendly.

Feature:

1.Chromium-containing neutral materials feature extremely low thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of expansion.

2.Chromium-containing neutral materials possess a specific ability to sinter only on the surface-i.e., at the interface in contact with molten steel. This capability resists crack formation, pore penetration, and protrusion into the refractory lining, thereby providing safety against molten steel penetration into heat-sensitive crucibles. Additionally, it ensures easy removal of the lining when replacement is required.
